Welcome to our website! We are breeders of Soay sheep.  Soays are a small, old, very hardy breed that is good for wool and meat production. They are great for beginners because they resist parasites and disease better than traditional breeds, shed their wool, and are great mothers. Soay can be horned, polled, or scurred. We have all kinds. They can either be of Brittish lineage, American, or mixed.  Ours are mixed.  We breed using the OFP (Open Flockbook Project) as a guide for diverse genetics and are enrolled in the Voluntary (SFPT) Scrapie Program.
